The letter of endorsement should be written by the organization the project will benefit or by your Project Advisor, stating that they have agreed to the project. These two documents must be in ONE zip folder and uploaded during Step 5.
The GoGold Online system only allows for one file to be uploaded, if you upload two files the first will be kicked out and replaced with the second file. Gold Award Proposals are due by 5pm on the first of the month. If the first falls on a weekend, the due date is the first business day after that weekend.
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to complete the online Gold Award proposal. Do not wait until the last minute to begin. Save your answers to the questions in a separate location, either handwritten or a word document, in case of any system errors. Also, some of your answers to questions in Steps 1 can be repurposed and expanded on later in the proposal.
If you are having issues accessing your account, or the site gives you an error message, please send an email to gogoldonline girlscouts. If your proposal is missing any of the additional documents you will receive an email from Council with information on what you are missing and where to send it.
